A nice protector for travel trailer bunk mattresses

I bought this to cover a piece of foam that I am using as a replacement bunk mattress in my Coachmen travel trailer. The foam is 27x71x4 so I knew this mattress cover would be a little baggy.
It's definitely thin and I wouldn't want to use it as my main bottom sheet as it's a little rough and obviously a low thread count fabric. Yes, the zipper is on the short end so it makes it a little difficult to put on.
However, as a cover that I don't plan on taking off a lot, this works well. I washed it, worked it over the piece of foam (carefully), then tucked in the excess under the mattress. When it's time to make the bed I add a softer, fitted sheet on top.
I do question it's durability and will keep an eye on it as it will certainly have to come off several times this camping season.

Received quickly, packaged nicely. As advertized, item sanforized (pre shrunk). Zipper about 1/4 zip and full across one end. Put on our foam mattress in our converted cargo trailer. A little large for our custom bunk mattresses but close as we could get to the size we needed. Pain to get foam rubber in the cover but not the covers fault. Foam sticks to everything. Go it in and tucked the extra material under and they look nice enough. We will use sheets or sleeping bags, this cover is mostly to help protect the foam rubber from damage.
Good cover but a little big to be "Cot Size"

"Cot Size" and "Zips around mattress" in the description is not entirely accurate, in my opinion. Most cot or rollaway bed mattresses are seldom more than 4 inches thick, but this cover is sized for a good fit on a 7-inch mattress, according to its package labeling, so it was quite baggy on my rollaway mattress. Also, the zipper opening is at one end, not "around the mattress". Minor negatives aside, the fabric is good quality and this cover achieved its purpose of cheaply extending the life of an old but good mattress that had several tears in the original cover.

Following the advice of other commenters, I washed the cover first. Unfortunately, it shrunk. The zipper and seam ripped once I slid it onto an appropriately sized foam mattress. Will keep it until I find an alternative.
Ripped within 30 seconds.
