This is a fabulous product, far better than litter genie. I can't even begin to explain how good this is. It holds much more litter, is cleaner looking, has a handle and that great foot pedal, and opens from the side for easier access to the bag. The side access makes changing the bag so much easier. I'm thrilled with this purchase. If I have one negative, it is that you can get this item on chewy.com for substantially less money, even with the cost of shipping it is about $8 cheaper.

I've had the litter genie for years and it's a mess and small. The Lucky Champ is so much better. It's bigger, easier to make a new bag, and the refill lasts longer. I wasn't crazy about the springloaded flap so I took it off and it's a nice big opening now. I ordered another one for my sister's cat.

I purchased this Litter Champ back in June 2017. Up until then I used the Litter Genie for about 10 years. But the replacement cartridges were very expensive. I have 3 cats and found that it had to be emptied every 2-3 days. I then saw the Litter Champ on Amazon and thought perhaps this would be more practical for someone with more than one cat. I purchased it along with the 3-pack refill bags and found out this product is not as good as they make it out to be. To start, it's made of plastic and is not constructed well. You have to be a rocket scientist to figure how to refill the replacement bags. I've wasted 2 refills trying to replace the bags on the cartridge. There is no indication when your coming to the end of a roll. Because it's cheaply constructed, when Changing the bag, the weight of the waste causes the entire unit to tip over. I found that the bag had to be replaced almost every 2-3 days and emits odors just like the Litter Genie just It's bigger than the Litter Genie but that's about the only advantage over the Litter Genie. I have written to the manufacturer requesting a refund on the unit and the replacement cartridges. This Litter product is a waste of money.

This item is fantastic. I do not use it for cat litter, I use it for dog poop. I put the bags from our daily walks into the can. I empty it once a week. No smell comes from the can. It is very easy to use. I have a yellow lab and she is walked twice a day. I wish I knew about this years ago. I recommend it for anyone who has a dog.

This thing is a lifesaver. Got it to use in my dog/cat kennel where I put all my foster babies. Before I was taking out the waste and putting it in the garbage can outside which attracted all kinds of flies. Now I have it next to the litter boxes and even though it's almost full, I really can't smell the poop. No more flies, no more carrying the poop outside. I love it!!
