Great Darts

These are very well-made darts. Couldn't choose the gram size or smooth or knurled shaft, but I was fortunate enough to get my preferred weight (21 grams) and shaft (knurled).
at least I would have a good pair of house darts for someone else

I was one of the lucky ones. These darts are usually $30 or so, and I wasn't willing to pay that price to potentially get a dart I would not throw, since you cannot specify which weight you want. But when they went on sale for $9.99 plus $5 shipping, I figured even if I didn't get the weight I wanted, at least I would have a good pair of house darts for someone else. Well, I got lucky and received the 23g weight, which is what I wanted.
I do like the darts. I have had Nodor darts before, so I had a good idea what I was getting. The barrel is slightly longer than I'm used to, but it flies straight and I generally get good groupings. The flights are nothing to write home about, but really, you don't order darts based on the flights. I have other flights laying around. They did come with aluminum shafts, which is nice. Get some O rings to keep them from twisting.

Good purchase, no regrets

I never owned nice darts. I immediately saw an improvement in my accuracy. My package says the weight is 24 gram. I have no idea what the posting means by assorted weights 22, 24, 26. There is no explanation in the packaging either. Maybe each one is a different weight and I've been too hammered to notice:)
The "deluxe" case opened successfully once and immediately broke when I closed it, basically the hinge broke. No worries, my friends have strict orders to beat the crap out of me if I ever do something as dorky and embarrassing as walk around with my darts clipped to my belt.

Excellent darts for a beginner

I have an old Joe Camel cabinet dartboard that I haven't had the chance to mount for years, but I finally got the opportunity. Unfortunately, when I started trying to throw darts, I found that most of the shafts and/or flights were messed up. I came on Amazon, and decided to order two sets of these, hoping I would get different weights. Then I could decide which weight I liked best and keep the other set for guests.
After throwing these for only a short while, I love them. I got a set of 20 gram and 26 gram, which is about the weight difference I had hoped for. Both sets throw much better than my screwed up darts. I'm very happy that each set came with extra flights, shafts, and a dart tool.
The only complaints I have, and which are the reasons this comes down to a 4 star review, are that 1) the flights get smooshed in the case and 2) with non-smooshed flights, the case doesn't close easily. However, not a huge deal. I would never wear the case on my belt anyway because it would look ridiculous. I'll just carry the case into a bar if I feel I want to go play darts somewhere besides my house. And the flights are easily bendable into shape.
Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend these darts to any other people starting out with darts.

Good set of darts, and inexpensive!

My previous darts were 20g steel barrel. I received these darts in the 24g size and the barrels are both shorter and slimmer than the steel barrel darts. I also like the balance of the darts out of the box. My previous set I had to play around with different lengths of shafts before they flew consistently. These are more accurate with closer groupings without having to change anything.
