When filled to the 12 line , the pot overflowed no matter how low the light was. I had to return as it was making a mess out of my stovetop. The lid is attached and flips up allowing the coffee to overflow, there is also a small hole in the lid. I don't know its purpose. The coffee tasted good as I think perked coffee is the best. This item might work if not filled to the 12 cup line, but I purchased this item because I wanted to brew 12 cups as I was tired of making two pots every day.

Just got it today and have not used it yet, looks great well built and sturdy it came nicely packet, also had its own bag for it, will be making alot of coffee in it for a long time to come....

The inside of the pot has water spots, dirt, and lint. The stem hassmall rust spots. Very disappointing... It will be returned immediately.
