Civil War Sword

It's a beautiful replica but way too heavy to actually use or even swing around comfortably. The blade is not well seated in the handle so I can't recommend trying to cut anything with this, as after I sharpened it and swung it into a few things it developed a slight rattle. It is heavy like a sword and looks like a sword and if you stabbed someone with it they wouldn't really appreciate the difference, but it's not quite a sword. And they're not selling it as one. It's a great replica and it would look excellent on a wall or in a re-enactor's hands, but if backyard cutting is your game look elsewhere.

Very nice! Looks great, you will not be disappointed. The sword feels great in the hand, from pommel to point everything is squared away, no loose parts.

For the price it is a nice PCS gift. I get these for NCO's that earn their stripes while assigned to the unit. Overall we are happy with the product. Sometimes the scabbard has some dents or scratches that will not come out. Shipping is fast.
