Be warned these straps almost cost me my boat!!

We have been boating for years and this is the first time we've tried these types of straps as opposed to the old school rope & knots. We didn't even make it through one small rain/wind storm! Both straps BROKE causing damage to the rear of our boat. Amazingly the ropes that were used to tie the front of the boat were fine & held our boat through the storm. We are thankful that we only had 2 of these straps as opposed to all 4 that we had ordered or these straps may have been the cause of a lost boat!!

No flexibility not worth sending back. May use for quick trips from docks but not much else.
