Didn't work
Junk.

Junk with a capital J.
Used in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations. Worked once and that was it.
I cut the cable off and used it to wire another item, threw the box straight in the bin. Why does Amazon support duff kit?

You should buy this.

This is a great variable speed controller. Not only does it work for routers, it works with my drills, jigsaws, and fans. Would buy it again.
Did not work, oops my mistake...

Did not work out of the box. Variable speed is dead. Fuse okay, runs in full mode only. Poor quality.
UPDATED: Upon further research, I see the router I have (Dewalt DPW611) has soft-start. Therefore this will NOT work.
So it is my mistake. I will change my rating to 3 to be more neutral.
