I ordered this set because I 'thought' it was the authentic set from China. No. This is a very cheap replica. The picture shown is the real deal but that's not what you get when you purchase this. The cheaply made replica does not look like the picture at all and mine came broken in 2 places to top that off. This was meant to be a Christmas present for my daughter but I had to immediately send it back. I was SO DISAPPOINTED with this chess set. The picture is very deceiving because I actually have the one in the picture and it came from a Chinese store IN China when my husband was visiting there.
This product is made in China but it doesn't even compare to the one I have. My daughter wanted her own. I will keep looking.

Purchased for my boyfriend as a Christmas gift. He really liked it. It's a good quality item, and I would buy it again.
