I bpurchased this to butcher 250-300 lb pigs. On the third pig the winch malfunctioned (misaligned) and it can't hold weight now. A 300 lb. Pig Falling to the ground is very risky especially with young children standing by. Even the cable is mashed! And it's rated for 500lbs?

I bought this to lift heavy items around my yard. This thing is actually pretty darn tall. Works well, and is easy to set up by one person. Many uses and breaks down for easy storage. Quality built. Excellent tool to have in your collection.

This is one of those devices that has so many uses, sure, I use it for hunting, but I've used it to hang outboard motors on boats, lift engine blocks and more. I wish they had better winch assy's though. I am planning to change mine out to add a small 12v winch.
