I love this stuff. I can't eat eggs, so got it to add egg flavor to VeganEgg (the absolute best egg replacer out there). But I like it enough that I use it on meats, legumes, etc. It has a little less sodium than regular salt, and provides sulfur, which is good for us.

A recipe for a vegan version of Brazilian Potato Salad recommended this salt because its aroma can suggest eggs (which we don't use). It might be hard to imagine that such a small quantity of anything could make such a big difference, but this product was an amazing addition! I'm so glad to have found it and will be using it in many other cooking opportunities to give an extra layer of flavor to my vegetable dishes. The salt arrived perfectly dry, packaged in a sturdy, easy to use pouch. In a word; wonderful!

My black Indian salt came fast and as expected. Nice samples came along inside the package. Wish it came with a small salt shaker but that's easy to get. This salt does not substitute my pink salt but it has the sulfur hard-billed-egg taste and aroma I was looking for. Thanks.

Excellent vegan addition to dishes for that sulfuric egg taste and smell. A little goes a long way. Successfully used in vegan frittatas and tofu scrambles. Non-vegan diners enjoyed them--with this and a little turmeric and some vegan cheese for fat, really is very similar to egg dishes.
