Another great Rago shaper; perfect for days when I don't want/need the support of an open-bottom girdle. Fit is as expected, very comfortable and stays put all day long. Great for supporting my vintage hosiery! FYI: the metal garters and adjusting buckles do/will get TSA's attention at the airport. LOL

Great product. Good quality. Perfect fit. As always with clothes on Amazon, buy using the SELLER's size guide, not Amazon's! During the spring and fall, I wear mine almost daily. Love that it is six strap--much better than four straps in terms of functionality. "Functional" that's an important word here. It has a certain reto appeal to it, but it's not boudoir lingerie. If you're getting it for that, you'll probably be disappointed.

Some reviewers complain that it bunches up. I've found it does that when you put it on, but don't have your stockings strapped. Once you have your stockings strapped on, it all stays in place just fine. (Little tip: For wear-ability, put your panties on TOP of the garter belt. You'll thank me the first time you go to the ladies room!)

Love this garter, fits well, although the way the size these, could make you feel huge, especially when you have to order say a 5XL vs. an XL in normal sizing.
The fabric and quality is superb. Don't get to wear this near often enough! Now, if we could just get Amazon to carry a better selection of stockings to go with this...!

very disappointed. I got a size up, and holy cow these are wayyyyyyyy to tight. I know the are suppose to be tight, but this was just awful. I'm a 50" hip and 36" waist, and I thought I was trying to get into something a lot smaller. The material is strong, and looks good, but not what I hoped for.

I bought this garter belt in hopes of surprising my boyfriend with it for Valentine's Day. We both really like the pin-up look. I also bought it because I'm a big girl, and I don't have many pieces of lingerie. I thought it could boost my confidence a bit to own something that would highlight my butt and my legs, parts of my body that I actually really like.
I carefully measured myself, my waist was 47" and my hips were 57" inches. According to the size chart (to the right of the drop down menu where you choose which size you want), that makes me just at the bottom of the 4X size. Given that reviewers said that this runs small, I decided to order up and I got a 5X.

The garter belt just came in the mail today.
1. I tried it on, and it just barely fits me.
2. It was difficult to get over my hips. I think it would have worked better if it had been designed with a hook and loop closure like on the back of bras.
3. Part of the reason I chose to buy this one is because it has some tummy control. I'm a little bit self conscious about my stomach. The problem is that the belt isn't long enough to go from my natural waist to the bottom of my hips. Because of this, there's some muffin top. This isn't a big deal, as I have a camisole that I can wear with the belt if I want to wear this under my clothes, but it's very annoying.
4. The clips that come on the straps don't look to be very sturdy. I specifically looked for a belt that would actually hold up stockings, and I'm annoyed that I spent $35 to get a belt that has kind of crappy buckles.
5. I ordered up a size. If anything, this should be too big, not giving me a muffin top. I wanted to buy myself a nice piece of lingerie to help my self esteem, and instead I'm left feeling like a whale. I understand this is supposed to be somewhat of a shapewear piece, but if it is then it should be longer so I don't have a muffin top.

I don't think I will be returning this item. It fits well enough, and I have a solution to the muffin top issue. I'm not sure if the size up would make much of a difference.
