Felt like a trash bag
Mrs. RobertsonNovember 9, 2015
I knew these were going to be light weight, I understand ultralite. But they are completely not what I expected. They are made of almost like a trash bag material. Which is fine if you are looking for a wind break I suppose. But the price is totally out of line for the product. If they had arrived and had cost half what I paid for them perhaps I would have kept them to see if they helped when riding the bike. But the cost for the flimsy cheapness of them is way off. They have been returned, and I did receive a return. The seller is great, no problem with the service or the return.
Great solution for the poncho problem

These work great with the sil-nylon poncho tarp I use. My knees on down would get wet in a heavy downpour, but not any more. I put small carabiners through the waist holes so I can pull them up and hook them on to my belt loop.
I've also filled one with pine needles and improvised a pillow, and tied a knot in the middle of one and used it as a water bucket, and then flipped it over and had a ditty bag that cinches closed. I'm sure there are more uses if your resourceful enough.
keeps the water off.

not worth the cost, i think, but servicable.
Haven't used yet, but nice and light!

Still too early here to use, but very lightweight and seem well made. Good addition to my lightweight gear for this spring.
Not meant for the long haul but good for emergencies.

These are very lightweight so are good to keep in a pack for sudden weather changes but they are not very sturdy. They are not meant to be.
