Good height and design.

My kitchen cabinets are very tall. I was dragging a wooden stool around my kitchen for a few weeks before I finally broke down and bought this. It was a little more than I wanted to spend, but I know that I'll be keeping this around for a long time (hopefully for the rest of my life!). It is very lightweight, and gives you about 16" additional height. I find that the lower step is very shallow and I never feel very stable when I step up on it, so normally I'll just step straight onto the top step. Not a deal breaker by any means, but if they were to do a re-design, it would be nice to see an inch or two more room to really get your full foot on the lower step. It moves just fine on my wood floors, but I feel that this is due to how lightweight it is. I can feel it "drag" a little when I move it, which leads me to believe that the wheels aren't doing much. It would be nice to see a higher quality wheel that spins more readily. All in all I am pleased with the stool. None of the little issues have stopped me from using it daily to reach my top shelves.
A Solid Product That Came With Sloppy Excess Glue

I bought this to replace a 30-year-old metal stool of similar design that I used in my clothes closet. This one is lighter but feels solid. My only complaint is the lousy glue job on the rubber pads. There was excess glue all around the edges of both pads, which looked cruddy and also was going to be a dust trap. So I removed the glue near the edges and used rubber cement to glue them back down, without any overflow. If you're buying this for a basement or shop, the excess glue may not bother you.
Love it

This is perfect. I am not very tall and my kitchen cabinets are all the way to the ceiling. This is fantastic because it is a light color and will not mar my white cabinets. It just rolls around the kitchen until I need it. It is light weight and does not tip when you wheel it around. I am SO glad I got it.
Perfect accompaniment to my new closet

I recently had my closet enlarged, and not wanting to give up any space, had some shelves placed very high on the wall for items not used very often. This stool slides easily on the hard-wood floor with just a nudge of my foot to whatever location I want (or out of the way if it is in front of something I need). Then when I step on it it immediately snugs down firmly so I feel stable when I step on it, and there is no damage to the floor. I want to add that the picture makes the stool look a little green-ish, but it is actually two shades of gray. I truly love the look and the function and wouldn't change a thing!
Light weight and easily hold my 250lbs

I own 3 of these. The oldest being 7 yrs old. They offer the strength of the old metal ones with the rust resistance and light weight of plastic. Win win
