Beautiful bag, great quality leather. Its huge and can hold a ton of clothes but careful with the strap. The strap does not feel like it will be able to support so much weight for a long period of time.

I got this for my husband as a Christmas present because he does a lot of short 1-3 night trips for work and needed a nicer duffel than what he had. He absolutely loves it! I think my husband has pretty good taste (he likes nice things) so I took it as a huge compliment that he approved of this bag! The Café color was darker than the picture but still very pretty. The leather looks and feels nice especially for the price! I think this was a great buy.

Incredible deal on David King leather duffel. This is my new overnight/ carry on bag. I have owned a David King backpack since 2006 and it is still in great shape. The fit & finish are very solid and I would have paid much more. It is a very basic duffel with large center area and two end compartments for dopp kit or medicine bag. Each side has a zipper for additional storage. Also, Amazon is the absolute best when it comes to great prices and fast shipping.

I thought I ordered black, but a dark brown arrived instead. After checking my order, I realized I mistakenly ordered "cafe." I am more than pleased with the bag. Looks great, genuine leather, plenty of space for an extended weekend. I'm not sure if this bag qualifies as carry-on as I have not traveled on an airline with it. There are two parts that do not seem up to par: the strap that comes with it is not a full leather strap (the bottom is canvas or some other material), and the velcro on the handles, while I appreciate being able to secure the handles together, seems out of place on a leather bag.
I've owned this bag for almost a year, although minimal use (once a month average), shows no wear.

I like this bag even more than I thought I would. I did a ton of research on leather duffels and settled on this one because it seemed to offer the best size and quality for the price. I just got back from a two week trip to India and Nepal during which I used this bag as my main piece of luggage. I took about 7 changes of clothes and this bag fit all of it just fine. I was even able to stuff in a few outfits, one pair of shoes, and some souvenirs I purchased on the trip, and there was still room to spare. This bag is a bit too heavy and too big to use as a normal gym bag, but as a travel duffel for a long weekend or even a week it is the perfect size. Highly recommended.
