Your going to be disappointed. Good for 🔥 starter! Cheap, not likely to fly
Katherine WrightJanuary 9, 2018
I tried 28 of these and 4 lifted off the ground and took flight. The rest burned up on the ground prior to lift off. I also purchased individual white memorial sky lanterns. Everyone of those took off and made flight as far as the eye could see. Save your money and deep disappointment and buy from someone else. These are truly junk. I seldom leave negative reviews but this product earned the review. It got one star because 4 we're successfully air born, though only for a short time and actually we're a cause for tree fire concerns since they were so cheaply made. The good ones are made in the USA.

Shipping took forever - direct from China. Lanterns are hit or miss in terms of condition and functionality. They are colorful and do work well if you can open the latern without tearing or pulling it apart. (some are stuck together from the wax element melting) Suggest having 2 people when lighting so as not to catch the lantern on fire while waiting for it to inflate. Also requires some minor assembly as you must manually install the wax element to the metal frame before you can ignite it. Giving 3 stars because you can't beat the price and you get what you pay for. Note: assembly is simple task... push looped end of metal wire through hole in center of element then bend wire over to secure.
dont buy iv let lanterns off a bunch of times but these catch fire VERY EASY and shoot sparks from the fuel pack very scary

scary as hell!!!! ive bought and let so many of the lanterns off but these are junk they caught the paper on fire and come down like a blimp on fire lol I never got any of them out of my hand very close to burning myself and catching the house on fire the fuel pack is like a wax square and when lit it shoots sparks and caught the paper on fire each time tried 3 and all did the same
these are not what you would get from a fireworks stand by any means
Beautiful and fun to watch. Take common sense fire precautions.

I love sky lanterns! Good color assortment with this purchase.
These are made out of a wood hoop which stabilizes the opening and twisted wire that holds the fuel square. The colorful paper IS tissue thin. Be slow and gentle when trying to unfold the paper to expand the lantern to it's full size. If you do rip a hole in the paper, it must be patched for the lantern to fly. Scotch tape can be used for this. The fuel square takes a bit to catch fire. I find gently roughing up one corner of the fuel square helps it to catch fire a bit faster. Be very careful of the melting fuel! (super hot) Keep the paper lantern held away from the flame as the lantern expands!
Make sure you fly these on a calm day (low wind) and that there has been recent rainfall. This is an open flame setup and could be dangerous in forested areas if too dry.
Use common sense when using these and check local law to verify legality of use.
The color and construction are good.

We only use these at the beach because of the potential for fire. They require some assembly with the fuel bar, and they were difficult to light in the wind. It took a long time and lots of bodies shielding the wind to get it in the air. It also takes a little time to be ready to take off after you do get it lit, so be patient! The color and construction are good.
