Yes the flower is not real as bamboo plants do not flower, but it does look nice. The plant is real and has grown since purchased and it still looks great

The plant came in a healthy condition with plenty of water to survive. Seven months later, the bamboo is still living, but one stalk had died about four weeks after its arrival. I'm not sure what caused it, but I suspect it was not the fault of the seller.

This was a gift for my daughter who just had her fifth child and was going through a rough time, this really cheered her up. She said it is absolutely beautiful, including the vase. So this one is a WINNER, hands down. However if you need It quickly, order it at least 4 weeks or so ahead of time. It takes awhile to arrive.
