Not sure how you could own a 4x32 ACOG with 1.5" eye relief without getting the rubber protector...looks cool, very comfortable. And with Larue Tactical mount wth extended eye relief it becomes a wonderful optic if you are on scope for long or short periods of time.

It does what it's supposed to do, but it could be better. My only complaint is it's not really made for the ACOG I have, the TA31H-G. Being such a simple device, 1 problem is really 1 too many! The bosses sticking out of each side at the rear for mounting a RMR scope, do not give the rubber eyecup very much room to mount onto the rear eyepiece. I have learned there are other Trijicon scopes without the bosses that this eyecup would work better on. I had to secure mine with a zip tie, which looked crappy. I have replaced it with the new Trijicon flip cap with the holes for the bosses to stick out thru. If the rubber eyecup had a slightly longer mounting tube with the holes for the bosses, it would be perfect!
