Quiet and efficient. Lovely
GundoApril 29, 2018
Nice pump. Quiet and efficient. At least have as noisy as the Savio WMS3600 -WaterMaster Solids 3600gph Pump I had before. That Savio pump lasted 10 years of near continuous use from April to November, hope this this Alpine pump can be relied upon as such a good soldier.
Powerful, reliable pump

This is my second pump in 5 years, so that's a reasonable life span, and the first one might have died due to pond problems so I'm not sure if it was the fault of the pump. Just to be clear, I only run it a couple of hours a day, so power users might have a different experience. Anyway, it's a powerful pump, doesn't seem to get clogged easily (never had that problem and don't have a screen to protect it from "stuff"), so I'm happy with it.
... in the pond for a couple of weeks works great!

Been in use for a whole season in my pond and holding up nicely. pumps a good amount of water and definitely amplified my waterfall a lot in comparison to my old one... It actually caused a bit of trouble/frustration at first as it was filling my upper pond faster than it was able to drain, which was an aquatic engineering flaw on my end, not the pump. Definitely recommend. Great pump, very happy with purchase.

the one thing they could improve... the cage covering the motor falls off very easily and it's a straight shot to the motorized fans from there... the cage should fit more snugly, or there should be a secondary cover before the propeller/fan. After the cage fell off I was very concerned it may have easily killed some small fish in my pond. Be very careful to ensure the outer cover is clicked on all the way
it died it 6 months
