The hole for the arm is exactly 3/4". If your arm is a little bit over (as mine was) it will not fit. Seems to be good quality.
Does not fit all grooming arms.

This "versatile" clamps opening is too small for the arm I have. Would have given it more stars had it fit.

Measure your grooming arm carefully, this does not fit all grooming arms. I have a grooming arm that I purchased from Pet Edge & this does not fit. Very disappointed. That said, it seems well made and goes on the table easily. I will have to resell it on ebay or give it away.
