When I finally decided to replace our bathroom fan, I thought my only option was to replace the entire unit which would have been terribly difficult as it was installed before the ceiling tile and was stapled to the rafter. Removing just the motor and fan was easy but where to find a replacement for a 47 year old fan. Amazon was the answer. Easy to find and I had it in 3 days. Took me 20 minutes to replace. Im 80% sure this is an aftermarket product and not truly OEM as indicated. But how would I know? It doesnt look like the picture and it doesnt match precisely what I am replacing. But it seems to work fine and as long as my house doesnt burn down the house, I dont care what it looks like.

It did fit and works. It is loud as hell, like old fans used to be, 30 something years ago. Thankfully, this repair was made in a public building and not a house or I would have been getting a call back for the thing being too noisy. I do not recommend this in a small house, buy the retro fit kit or replace the whole thing/unit with a modern one.
