Yes, these are a little pricey for so few bags but once I saw them I understand why. They are super strong and you ou can zip them up and toss them when you are done so you don't have to worry about any waste accidentally getting on you. I got these as a very practical Christmas gift for my sister who is a long-distance female truck driver. She frequently has to sleep overnight at rest stops and convenience stores. I didn't want her getting out of her truck in the wee hours of the night going into convenience stores and rest stops and having to walk by sometimes desperate people who are hanging around truck stops to cater to truckers who are into "the lifestyle". It just made good sense not to do that anymore and to be safe. She travels alone. She uses them with the Luggable Loo. She can zip and toss in the morning when there is daylight. I also got her the luggable loo for Christmas and she loves it.

I used these at a camping festival (very hot and dry weather) to avoid the porta potty! I used for BMs only, and used a feminine funnel (pstyle) to pee in the porta potty (I will not sit in a porta potty - discusting!). I used a 5 gal bucket, placed bag in bucket (follow directions), and placed a cut-to-fit pool noodle on the bucket edge (to create a seat cushion and to hold the bag in place). I used one bag for 3 BMs (including TP). After each use, I removed the pool noodle seat, rolled the inner bag down (didn't seal it in outer bag), placed the pool noodle in the bucket, and placed the lid on bucket (did not seal bucket to prevent moisture build up). I used a small amount of kitty litter on top of BM for good measure (moisture and odor control). When ready to go home, I pulled the outer bag up over inner bag and zipped it closed, put bag and noodle back in the bucket, sealed the bucket, and put in car for the ride home. Once home, I placed the bag in the trash, and stored the bag and noodle in the garage.
The whole process was easy and odor-free!

Bought these to use while tenting camping with a commode chair. While the bags themselves fit the commode fine and worked as intended - the packaging left a lot to be desired as there was gel powder everywhere in the product box even before I opened or unfolded a single bag . It was a mess and trying to clean it up off a tent floor was a nightmare. While the bags themselves worked well as did what little gel powder was in the bags I can't rate these highly based upon my horrible experience with them. If the gel powder was packed in small separate envelopes or something it would be a much better user experience. I fully intend to use the gel powder itself again as it itself worked well, I'll be using cheap trash compactor bags instead.

Very simple if pricey per usage solution (aprox $2.60 per usage). Consists of a 2-stage heavy duty bagging "system". The inner (black) bag is the size of a small trash bag, has moisture absorbent gel in it. This black inner bag is attached to and nested in a silver/gray smaller outer bag. That silver/gray outer bag resembles a very thick, heavy duty, double track gallon Ziplock.

While one would,of course, wash after handling this after usage, if you pay attention and handle the bag carefully, you have nothing to worry about as far as getting "soiled" with it's content.

Highly recommended. A very good, reliable product.

I bought these for a three day backpacking trip in Canyonlands NP where you were required to pack out human waste. They works fine for collecting and holding the waste. The larger inner bag is connected to the bag that is supposed to seal the waste inside and the inner bag is plenty large enough to make for a big aiming spot. The trouble is the outer bag just doesn't seal in the odor at all. I'm not sure if adding more bio gel or baking soda would have done a better job at controlling the odor. It was a pretty smelly hike out.

Next time I'll try the original WAG bag to see if works any better and bring an extra odor proof bag (Basecamp or Locsak) to put these in if that doesn't work.

These would be fine if you were just camping and didn't need to be anywhere near the bag after using it. Just don't get these if you're going to have to carry it around for a couple of days afterward.
