ERYTHRITOL 1st ingredient

I like the taste of this in tea, but not coffee. I was having occasional tummy issues that turned to daily most if the last month. I had given up black coffee for tea with Truvia. I use 2 packs at a time and drink tea most of the day. It has "honest sweetener" with Stevia written all over the box. Sadly when you get to very small writing under ingredients, the first ingredient is ERYTHRITOL ,a sugar alcohol. Sugar alcohols CAN cause bloating and gas in many people including myself and my husband. When I used two packs a day, I had no problem. When I use this product 3 to 4 times a day I feel icky.
A Sweetener with crunch

As artificial sweeteners go, I would duplicate all the other positive comments about Truvia. But, I would also mention the positive attribute of the the sugar-like granularity, which seems to be generally overlooked. This is especially nice when sprinkled on items like cinnamon toast, berries and fruit, cereal, where texture of the sugar granule "crunch" is missing from most other artificial sweeteners.

Very economical! And tastes good! I've been using stevia for almost 20 years. I prefer packets over powders or liquids because they are pre-measured and I always get the right amount: not too much or too little. For many years I used Swanson's because they were so economical. And when I tried other brands, I was usually disappointed either by the taste or the strength. BUT I'm very happy with Truvia and this is a very economical way to buy it. I've found I can even sprinkle a little on cereal and it's a very natural taste. I only wish they would pack a little holder in with this large box, so I could just sit the smaller box on my kitchen counter. This box is too big to sit on the counter.

We love our Truvia, so looked around for bulk size and best price. Amazon came through. This ends up being cheaper than WalMart, for example, and the bulk size means we don't have to order quite as often. One star off because Truvia decreased the package size. I emailed them to see if it was a formula change (i.e., the same 'sweetness' in a smaller volume). It isn't -- it's just less sweetener per packet, though only marginally so. They claimed it was because that is what their customers wanted. I don't buy it. But is is still the best sweetener around. More expensive than Splenda or Splenda generics, but we think it's worth it.

What a wonderful way to always have this product available, "Truvia Natural Sweetener"; 400 Packets to have each.when I do order this product. What a shame that their is so many people that don't know about "Truiva"~ Truvia tabletop sweetener is marketed to consumers as a packet sweetener for food and beverages. This makes it a direct competitor to existing packet sweeteners Splenda (sucralose), Equal (aspartame), Sweet'n Low (saccharin), and table sugar. Truvia's ingredients are erythritol (a sugar alcohol found naturally in small amounts in various fruits such as grapes and melons), stevia leaf extract and natural flavorings. As a main ingredient, erythritol is a non-caloric bulking agent that was created through a fermentation process.
