Looks Great and Allows My Elderly Mother to Dress Herself
Cheery_Chickadee✓ Verified Purchase•April 7, 2018
My elderly mother has worn these exclusively for years. They are comfortable, last a long time, and most importantly...are safe...to wear without shoes around the bare floors of her home. She uses a device to help her put on her socks (see photo) yet the elastic is not damaged. She wears a 12D in women's or a 9 1/2 EE in men's...US shoe size. The socks stay up all day, do not bind her wide calves, and have the perfect amount of toe space to not constrict or have too much extra fabric. They are a little rough to the touch, but she finds them comfortable.
Yuk, lint falls off, sticks to you toes, feet, sorry to say

Black threads come off onto your feet and leave the white bathroom floor rugs towels full of black lint, from your feet. I had to throw mines al away. Otherwise were loose, not tight, were comfy, but thin. Cold days, need double up. I will never buy again because the material comes apart not your bare feet only finally coming off during your shower. Yuk.
not very durable

I wanted a pair of socks that would not bind and these seemed like they would be okay and several reviewers had said as much. I also wanted socks which would last a little as it seemed most of my socks develop holes in the toes within months of me wearing them. So I tried these out. At first it seemed like they would not bind because they were so soft putting on, in fact I couldn't understand exactly how they were able to stay up but they did. However, when I took them off, I saw that they do indeed bind although not as much as my regular socks. This, I felt was a fair trade-off because they were so comfortable to wear. But after I washed them and took them out for a second wearing, the first pair immediately developed holes in the toes. "That's odd..." I thought, "it must just be a fluke." but subsequently, each pair that I have worn after washing has had the exact same result. I can't say that I would recommend these socks to anyone.
Yes, they are COMFY

I have been looking for socks like these. I have sturdy calves and most socks are tight, leaving ridges in my ankles or calves. These are perfect for me because they do not bind or have tight elastic tops. They do slip down over several hours, but I would rather have to take the time to pull them up than have that sore deep ridge in my calf. I wear a size 9 in a womans shoe and find that they fit well, not too big. I washed them before wearing, so for anyone who thinks they might be too big, wash first then see. I must say that I wear them primarily to bed, but they have worked in my walking shoes.
Good Product not even close in color shown

I wear the heck out of these socks. I am not diabetic but I like how comfortable they are and I can tuck my trousers into the top of them for cycling. They wear out and get the odd hole here and there but worth it for the unrestricted fit. So far I have only bought black ones for winter cycling. They are plenty warm.
So . . .
I decides to buys me some light colored ones for summer walking trips.
That was when the "trouble" started. I wanted tan but talked my self into using the off white / ivory looking ones they call "tan".
What arrived at my door were orangish leather colored. Certainly not on the light brown . . . what I would call tan . . . side.
They make my tan walking shoes look dirty.
I will use them to wear around the house but they look ghastly with my tan walking shoes.
They fit well and are comfortable though . . .
shame about the color.
They might look good with other shoe colors.
See the orange in the lettering here on Amazon ? They are nearly that color. Add a touch of white and that is the color of socks we are discussing here.
Good luck. I'm pulling for ya. We are all in this together.
