This is a great product, my husband has bad knees, and this is comfortable to use in the garden, and the rim which I was worried about, doesn't come in contact with the knees when compressed. The only thing we would change, is the bottom is a bit slippery in a hill. Maybe they should add a rubberized backing. Other than that, the hubster says they are better than the OSHA knee pads he's given at work.

This board is fabulous! I had double knee replacement surgery a year ago, and my knees are still extremely sensitive to pressure. My surgeon says they may stay like that forever. I tried gardening knee pads, but they didn't work for me. This board is the perfect solution, because not just the knee is supported, but a portion of the lower leg as well. I live in a condo and don't have a garden, so the board is used inside the house exclusively.

It is very comfortable with excellent cushioning. The back is plastic so it slides easily. I have used it in the garden and in the home to get on my hands and knees to clean up the floor.
