It is a really cute toy, well made. It is on the small side, which is nice if you don't like toys to take up a lot of space. I found that it worked well every time.

I ran across this toy only recently (somehow I missed it!) and although it says age 1.5 years and my son is almost 2.5 years old, I really hoped he would enjoy playing with it. Well, he played with it just a little bit (he liked the little cars - these are quite small).

So, I would say it is likely intended for the age group as specified. I had bought a similar toy when my son was a about 1.5 years old, a Hape toy with 3 balls running down, and he played with it a lot for at least 8 months (now he only plays with it every now and then).

Like I said, it is a well made toy, and functions as intended; hence 5 stars (I really like it!) I will be giving it to another family member with a younger child.

The media could not be loaded. Some friends have one similar to this and our boys (5yo and 1.5yo) loved it, so we recently purchased this one. It seems to be well-built and (I) love the simple colors and design.
The little red bumper at the bottom that stops the cars is a +/- but overall I appreciate that the cars don't end of flying off and away, especially on hard surfaces.
Great toy you could give to almost any child - although as some have mentioned the cars are small, so definitely requires supervision if you have an oral kiddo.

I bought this a few weeks ago for my vehicle obsessed 16 month old -- it was a total hit! He was interested right away and spent a good 15-20 minutes when we first opened it playing with the the little cars in the track. He then started stacking the cars into the cabs and beds of his various other trucks, and rolling them around the floor. Weeks later he still plays with the track and especially the cars just about every day. I don't know what it is about the cars in particular that he loves so much ... the fact that they're the perfect size for his little hands? that they roll so smoothly? that they're colorful and have a good weight to them? ... I'm not sure, but he is REALLY into them.

Another poster complained that the track and vehicles were smaller than she thought, and that that was disappointing. I actually bought this because it is scaled a bit smaller than other similar tracks. We live in a condo and I try to keep the big huge toys to a minimum, so for us the size is perfect! Fits nicely on a shelf or in a cubby, and looks cute too -- not an obnoxious plastic monstrosity, or garishly painted.

Bought this for my 20 month old, whom it's developmentally perfect for -- and her 4 year old brother enjoys playing with it occasionally as well (though mostly I think he enjoys playing with her...it's a bit too simplistic for him). It's attractive, solidly made, and well designed (eg cars almost never come off the tracks). It's also surprisingly compact -- doesn't take up a lot of space on the toy shelf when stored sideways. I would recommend for 1-2 year olds. My only hesitation is that you need to supervise with kids who still mouth things, as the cars are fairly small. My daughter does mouth stuff still and I wouldn't let her play alone with this.

My 11 month old liked this toy, but by 12 months loves it!
He figured it out quickly and enjoys playing with the little cars separately too.
It is smaller, but that's great for my kid's fine motor development, though I don't leave him alone with the tiny cars for now.
The cars do get stuck and turn sideways inside the tracks, which makes me want to jump in and fix it for my little one. But when left to his own devices, he problem solves and figures out how to get the cars back out and keep playing. (Sometimes this means turning the whole thing on its side so the cars fall out and then tossing the cars between the ramps onto the floor, but hey, he's still having fun!)
Overall, feels like nice sturdy wood, good colors without gaudy stickers or anything, and my kid finds it fun!
