I bought these kneepads for my son for wrestling I tried them out for a jujitsu class I love him plenty of padding in the front thin mesh ventilation in the back almost feels like you got nothing restricting the back of your leg when you move, I got to get me a set of these, highly recommended

I wear these for aikido not wrestling. They have great padding and don't slide around too much. My knee hits the mat a lot over the course of a class, test or seminar, and these provide good protection, but I don't know how they'd do under wrestling conditions.

I kept getting painful kneecap jams when I would drop to the mat. I think our nice compliant mats are ideal, but they can cause some pain if you rotate on the load bearing limb; toe, knee, etc.
