Great replacement part for Aero chairs

Hard to tell if these are genuine parts, but considering the originals we had with our chair broke apart and made an absolute mess all over our room within a matter of weeks (and the manufacturer didn't offer a replacement ... grrr ...) - these work great.

We had an Aero from 2001 ... works fine. Takes all of 2 minutes to remove the old ones and tap in the new ones ...

These casters have worked very well for us. We had the regular carpet casters, 21/2 but the extra 1/2 inch made a great difference in the comfort of using the chair. Service was good, product well packed.
Not Herman Miller (Stabil) casters

These casters are not genuine Herman Miller casters. They are not marked "Stabil" like legitimate Miller casters. The wheels are wobbly, and the soft circumference (material not specified) is pockmarked. I ended up ordering a set from the Herman Miller store to get the genuine article. When I compare Millers to these fakes, the difference is obvious.

Simply awesome... Completely renewed my love for my Aeron Chair. I had tried and tried to clean up the hair on my old wheels and I was totally frustrated. Turns out there was such an easy solution at such a good price. Now my chair rolling around really smooth on my hardwood floor.

The wheels look pretty darn close to OEM, once you're rolling.. you won't even care.

Installation was relatively easy. I had trouble with one or two wheels. People talk about just giving it a good pull but my chair has been sat on by my big butt for some time. I found a flat wrench that came with my laundry machines and was able to easily pry the wheels off. Was rolling in minutes.
Get these castors for your wood floor

I bought my Herman Miller Aeron chair used. It wasn't until years later that I saw that our wood floor was damaged by the castors... ours were for tile or carpet, not wood. I hesitated a while getting these castors... they just didn't look like they had rubber on them and no reviews confirmed this. Thankfully they do! It's very thin, but enough to make a huge difference on our wood floors. What a huge difference - the original wheels made a lot of noise that carried through the chair. With these rubbered wheels, the chair works silently and rides like new.
