The attachment to the bike is so sturdy that no harm was done to the trailer - ...
EJ•June 13, 2018
It came with one of the wheels dented in two places. The distributor sent a set of new ones (smaller size, but since they sent two they can be switched out). So far, I have been able to continue using the dented one (hammered out the dents). I use the trailer to haul my 65lb dog 1/2 mile to the beach. She had difficulty adapting and pulled it over on herself a few times. The attachment to the bike is so sturdy that no harm was done to the trailer - dog escaped injury as well.. The spring in the attachment is an excellent design - making it easier to turn sharply and making it more resistant to breakage. The trailer, itself, is quite sturdy. It's fairly heavy, especially with a heavy load. To be this sturdy, and significantly lighter, it would have to be made out of aluminum or carbon fiber and would be much more expensive. Seems like good value for the dollars.
Great Trailer for the Money
Pure Mahem•March 5, 2018
Seen youtube reviews of this item and his is the newest version at even a lower price. If you have any mechanical ability this will be easy to put together right out of the box. I will note I could not get the C-clips that came with it to work with the included tool. I don't intend on removing the wheels so this isn't an issue for me I just put the washer stack on both sides of the wheel bearing before attaching the wheels. They even put protective end caps where the wheel guards mount so they don't get damaged during shipping. Im impressed with this item especially for the money. It doesn't say it in the instruction but I put a thin layer of axle grease on the axle shafts. I was going to add some to the bearings but they appear to be sealed and i couldn't axcess them. Nothing but good things to say about this purchase. The Wheel guards did take a bit of effort to get on I also took a bit of grease and wiped the inside of them where they fitted on to the trailer to keep them from rusting so if i need to i will be able to get them off later. I do think if you leave this out in the weather it will rust very quickly. But with some care and routine maintenance it should last a very long time. at a later date I may even coat it with truck bed liner its just an idea at this point.
Easy to fit together except wheels as snap ring tool ...
James A.•January 10, 2018
Easy to fit together except wheels as snap ring tool did not fit right. Used an after market snap ring plier I happened to have already. I would reccomend they find a better way to mount rims. Other than that everything went together well. It needs a little more reflective trim I think as it has no relectors on the rear. I just put two clip on relector/ flashers. Heavier than expected! Must weigh 28 punds, but not a nock as it is sturdy so for $100 you get a deal!
For the price, this is good

I can tell already that this won't last long for what I need a bike trailer for (hauling tools to work) but for $90, you can't beat it.
So far, I have successfully used it to tow my ~75 lb. of tools to and from work for the past week. I had zero problems putting it together and had it ready to go in under 15 minutes while watching TV.
Only downsides are minor:
1. The strap that serves as an emergency connection between the cart and bike, in case the main connection fails, rubs on one of the bolts and already has a hole in it. Will have to figure something out with that.
2. It is already rusting even though I keep it covered, but since I'm in Key West (everything rusts) and this thing was only $90, I sort of expect that. Later on, I will purchase a more expensive trailer made out of a different metal since I see that using a trailer is a practical solution for my needs.
3. The cover is not water/rain proof. Oh well, no big deal.
4 stars for the price of $90.

Nice bike trailer..

Very fast delivery. Easy to set up, the hardest part is installing the c clamp on the wheel pin. They supply the proper tool. Bought this mainly to haul my 10 year old 60 pound golden doodle when I bike ride on roadways and paved paths in nearby parks. It tracks very well and mounts to the bike easily. My dog exited the cart abruptly in the yard twice with my bike up on the kick stand. Bike fell on its side.. cart stayed upright. There is a spring between the tow bar and the bike post. I think it twist enough to cause no damage. The only negative side to the spring .. at times, mainly acceleration you can feel the lag time of the cart. At constant speeds you don't notice it. Not a big deal once you expect it. The tires are average and plan to replace in near future..already found what I want on amazon. The wheels rotate true and no wooble. My only negative comment is the rear bar swings into the cart just as the front one does. Designed that way mainly to fold it down for storage. I need the rear bar to swing outward so I can close it once Tucker is in the cart. I'll replace the screw on the hinge side and buy another locking clip pin, then I can pop the bar out completely. Load the dog. And lock both sides. Easy fix. The dog rides in it well and because it is wider than most other carts, he actually has room to curl up and lay down .. Not that he would .. Might miss something happening around him. The cover is held on by four elastic corners. Think I'll be sewing some velcrow straps on both end flaps for extra security. I can see it possibly vibrating loose and blowing off. Overall I am extremely happy with my purchase.. would recommend to other looking for an inexpensive way to haul small things behind a bike.
