Smooth Operation, but Failed in 6 Months

Purchased these in October on Amazon and they were quiet and improved shifting at idle when I used these on a one-way clutch on a 2014 Can-Am Outlander 500 XT.
I started having problems riding last weekend to the extent I had to shut down the machine to shift gears. Tonight I pulled the clutch apart and found the seal damaged on the outer bearing and the seal and cage completely disintegrated on the inner bearing. Very disappointed in durability.
Update 4/29/17:
I changed this to 4 stars from 2. I read about all the seal designs and one of the reasons that this one is not as durable as the 6808LUA OEM on is the seal is a different design. The 6808RS has a plain rubber seal rather than the tight synthetic rubber seal of the 6808LUA which has metal backing rings providing stiffness to the seals.
I can live with less durability since these cost 1/3 the price of OEM. I will just changes bearings every 100 hours when I grease the one-way in the Can-Am Outlander.

After replacing the bearings on the one-way, my 2008 Can Am outlander 800 shifting has improved to it's original state. Great!
