I like but please make a change if you could.

I've had mine for a few years now and I'm content with it. Although I have ordered the one with the strait valves what I got were angle valves and that turned out to be fine. I would buy this again if I had too but if that time comes I hope to see a product design change with the valves. I do tests on occasion on it and I listen for the motors turning gears on the valves. I would do a more thorough test by taking off the hoses and checking for water flow but it's hard to get to where they are located behind the clothes washer. I would like to have the motorized valves show a valve stem sticking up from the plastic housing so I can see the valve stem turning. I would feel better about that.
Worth the investment like insurance against water damage

It really does work. I had one for years (needed it twice saved me a lot of headaches) and damaged it moving. Bought another immediately. Worth the investment like insurance against water damage.

I have this product in conjunction with the Furman MP-20 Power Relay Accessory, 20 Amp, Two Outlets, Remote Turn-on from Momentary or Maintained Contact Switches and BOTH work PERFECT. The other thing I would want to let people know is the GREAT customer service this product manufacturer provides. I had a problem with mine and they were wonderful in fixing the problem and were quick to get me the replacement that I needed. So you can really count on them for great customer support as well as a good product!!
Came with one valve DOA
Robert S.•July 17, 2013
so is essentially useless. I have contacted Onsite Pro, but got an answering service. I ordered this for the installation of a new washer and dryer because the previous model had an inherent design defect. If the alarm went off because of a water leak and you silenced the alarm, the water valve opened back up! This new model has open, close and mute buttons. But either the controller or one of the valves is bad because it only shuts off one valve. The installation is in a very difficult place to reach so I wanted this done with the installation of a new washer and dryer stack. Now, assuming I get a replacement part(s), it is going to be difficult to change out. So I'm stuck.
Exceptionally Bad Quality!!
CJE•June 25, 2013
After reading several negative (and even three star reviews) complaining about the quality, I purchased the product despite the warnings. I never should have!
Right out of the box, there was one wire that was pulled out of the crimped connector. This is the wire needed to attach the water detection plate to the control unit. This could be fixed but I decided to test the valve units before installing. When I connected the valve units to the control unit and pressed "OPEN", both units opened fine. When I tried to close the units, one closed and the other did not. I switched the wires and the one that opened and closed fine still worked and the other was still stuck open. Next, I realized that the threaded fitting on one valve was not spinning freely (it was stuck to the valve body) and you need to turn the fitting to attach it to the threaded part of your water feed. Without the ability to spin freely, the entire valve unit would have to spun around and around to attach it to the water feed. I didn't get to that point.
I did manage to test the one valve and the water detection plate. If you watch the YouTube video/infommercial where the founder of the company shows the unit working on just one tiny droplet, you would think this is the way the unit is supposed to work Not so. It took quite a bit more water - which would probably be OK when you are having a flood - but it is certainly not as advertised.
Everything about the wiring is very cheap. For something that may need to be pulled though openings or from behind a washing machine, you would think that the company would make the wiring a little thicker.
I never write reviews but felt that this product is so poorly made, that I thought to try to save someone else from the issues that I had.
