I have a Pug Dog that has cataracts in both eyes. One is more recent. I decided to try this since my VET said cataract surgery would be about 4K. After 2 days the more recent cataract has shrunk from about the size of a dime to a little smaller than an eraser on a pencil. The other older cataract has not changed much at all.Before she saw nothing. But now she is at least noticing shadows. I will keep using this as she now at least can find the doggey door and go out to go bathroom where before she just went in the house. I am sure will working differently case by case. But I am glad I tryed this, it kept me from having to put her to sleep. Best of all I have been using it myself instead of other eyedrops.

They don't burn and I noticed a clearing of floaters and halo effect while driving at night but we shall see how it works on the cataract in the long run.

NAC type drops are suppose to help improve vision and clear up floaters and even cataracts by breaking up the protein build ups in the clear lend of the eye which causes the vision problems. Keep in mind not all NAC products use the same active ingredients so you will have to do a little of your own experimentation to see which works best for you, however I wanted to point out Eye Alive and Vision Clarity have the same exact ingredients however CAN-C does not, neither do some others on the market.

Believe me, my 19 year old Yorkie was nearly totally blind. I debated too long to try it. Finally I did and in less than two weeks there's a remarkable change. Not only can she see better, but because she can see more, her whole attitude is better. She's fiesty again and wants to play. She no longer just stands in a room with her head down. I was ready to let her go, but now she's doing so much better. Hope her sight continues to improve. I just wish I would have tried it months ago.
