Needs modifications to work.

So after a little work I got my mister working good. Right out of the box, the clamp that's holds the plastic tube on the copper circle sucks. It leaks really bad and, sprays water everywhere. This idea made a happy CEO produce a cheaper product, but is very poor. I had to put my own clamp to fix the problem. Also the Weld on the ring where the tube connects was not right. I was able to Solder it with a simple soldering iron and wire, to fix hole. Also the plastic clamps for mounting the ring on the fan are two small, mine busted. I just used twist ties. Perfect fix. I mounted it on a 30" oscillating fan that blows 9500 CFM's. I can feel the mister at 18 feet away. So with some modification from someone with common sense it worked out for me.

Bought the mister the fits on a round floor fan. Used it to keep an old pony cool in a heat wave this summer. Set it up and in a few minutes he stood in front of it. Up until then I had to hose him off numerous times a day. I would give it 5 stars because it is a great economical way to cool the air, but could not stop the faucet connection from leaking.

I liked this mister. It did lower the temperature a lot where we were sitting. You can't set directly in front of it or you will get very wet in about 4 or 5 minutes. You can walk through it for a quick cool off without getting super wet. It seems to lower the temperature just being close to us so that's how we use it. We sit just out of the water's reach.
Needs adjustable nozzles

I was very excited about this product and wished it would have worked well for me. The main problem is that too much water comes out of the nozzles and they are not adjustable. Even turning down the water at the spicket did not help. The prior reviewer that said it was more like a shower than a mist is correct. After five minutes, the outdoor furniture and I were soaked and water was pooling on the patio floor. A separate problem is that the connection to my hose leaked, which does not happen with any other items I connect to that hose. I returned the item after a couple of days.

Although slightly flimsy, I found the Deco Breeze DBF0629 Misting Kit and nice addition to the patio. I will tell you though, have it far enough away from your guests, or they will get wet. It's not the perfectly solution for cooling off the patio, but it's darn close.
