Pretty darn good gum; wish it were a tiny bit fresher

As former smokers my husband and I chew a lot of gum. It's getting harder to find large packs in quantity. So glad it's available through amazon. Only complaint is that it's not quite as fresh is I would like. This affects the consistency after chewing for a while. Wish it were a little fresher.

I chew way too much of this gum. I like it. Minty sweet. It does lose flavor pretty quickly. Normally it is soft but with my last purchase the gum is harder than normal. A bit stale I guess.

Polar Ice is my favorite, so of course I love the flavor, and it's pretty long-lasting compared to other brands. The reason I gave this only 4 stars is because the price was raised considerably after my first order. I found another type of packaging for the same gum, though -- still on Amazon -- and the price is much more reasonable.
