This exceeded my expectations. I purchased it for my Craftsman 14". Easy to install and, more importantly, easy to adjust.

So many reviews yet I am compelled to pitch in. There is a flaw, you must be aware of, even inspect for, if you receive one. The screws holding the fence to the base are too tight to the point of possibly deforming the fence before even being packaged. I see that they only need to be so tight, so I back them off as much as I can. If these screws are too tight it will deform the fence and make it out of square as completely illustrated by Raymond.

I still had to write a review because, this is super. It was money well spent, adjustable to the point that I am very satisfied. The ONLY other fence I have EVER used is a UniFence, that is the level of soundness and adjustability that I am used to. This RIKON fence meets those performance standards. Now I have the tool to perform dead acurate tuning of the saw.

You know how to tune a saw by making cuts and making measurements and then adjust and then cut again and so forth? Now I can do that. So easy to dial it in, really moves the saw up the levels, from "I hope I really bought a good saw" to "Man. this is great!" I think I could do a doll house.

I have the sears craftsman 14 inch very similar to the Rikon. This fence works beautifully with it. I can understand the advice from other reviews that you use a spacer on the rear guide rail. I'm not sure that it is really necessary. I've not put a spacer in, personally, and have not had any issues.

This item had a statement in the description. That lead me to believe it would fit most general 14 inch saws. It will not. Upon trying to find something online to modify it to fit my saw. I found that it will fit some craftsman saws. With only a small sim. It will not fit Harbor Freight's Central Machinery brand 14 inch band saw. Don't waste your time. The amount of work it would take to get it to fit will only be a waste of time. Get a Kreg band saw fence and be done with it.

Works well. Took some adjustment from the factory, but that's a given. My only complaint so far is that the two hex key screws that secure the fence to the locking portion were *extremely* tight. I was very worried I might strip the heads when I was trying to loosen them.

Otherwise, it's easily removable and easily adjustable. Likely better results than I'd get making my own fence. Pretty satisfied overall.
