this adapter is Ok it is the first of its kind that I have used but it is not made the best, the fence that the clamps mount on is made of plastic and the mortise drills are not the sharpest so there was a lot of tear out and the hole cut was not clean. the attachment did fit my bench top Rikon Drill press but there was a lot of friction between the drill bit and the chisel. Everything is packed inside the box in the really cheap grease that they use in china, and the box does not look too durable it is a very flimsy plastic. Also the washers provided for the kit were not large enough to fit the slots in my table.
I might not keep this product if I can find a better one.

tool became disorderly and dirty, to accommodate chisels did not fit into their places, meet expectations, it seems a good tool, unfortunately my drill press is very small.

I did a lot of research on this item prior to puchase. I neede to be sure it would fit my JET drill press, with enphasis on the adapters available for the collet diameter. It fits the collet OK (lots of spacers), however; it is too small for the diameter of my chuck. Too bad - probably will do a great job on a machime it fits.....
I'm going to return it as soon as I can.

The lever than tightened the chisel holder to the drill press quill was defective. It has a knurled nut that is supposed to mate with a spring-loaded matching bolt to tighten the split collar onto the drill press quill. The bolt was stripped and would not engage to tighten. Plus, although the specifications say the kit will fit a 48mm (1-7/8") quill, it would not fit my Craftsman 15" drill press (152.229000) with any combination of the split bushings provided.
