Blade is thicker than expected, so the product has a cheap look to it.

It doesn't fit, because you hold it in your hand. It was perfect for my son's costume, It was a heavier kind of plastic, but not so heavy i was scared he would hurt someone.

I should have heeded the negative reviews. The image pictured is not what you get. The handle is roughly the same shape and design. The description boasts that the blade is fake and only appears sharp. Once you get this product- there is NO way in H, E, double hockey sticks this machete would ever be confused with word "sharp". I was not expecting be best movie quality, but i did expect the image shown in ad. The whole blade is thin hollow black plastic with cheesy fake red blood. I purchased this because it did not have the cheesy blood or splatter on it like most. This is dollar store quality, but a bigger price tag. No one placed images in, so I hope mine show up. The handle is a bit too large for my female hands & feels awkward. Even meant for guys, I have held ones in party stores that held better. Retruned and I was already refunded by Amazon.

This machete is comically over sized and looks nothing like the picture.
