Channel Master CM-3080 Antenna Chimney Mount

Worked out good, easy to install. Mite be a Little light weight for a large heavy antenna. I used the mount to install my weather station outside unit.
Easy to attach

Easy to attach, no issues, though I am sure it will rust in time, metal will distort with too much pressure, maybe I am just heavy handed but surely not excessive or I would have stripped the threads right off of that Chinese metal.
Good Mount for Medium Weight Antennas

This kit was enough to install my 30-Element 113-inch antenna and a cast-aluminum rotator to the chimney, with a 6-foot mast. It went together easily and has withstood mild winds so far, but time will tell if it can last through the cold winter in western New York. In my opinion, it is made for medium duty: the straps are thin and narrow and the brackets flex a bit. I would recommend it for smaller antennas and chimneys. My installation would have been sturdier with a heavy duty mount.

I experienced the same problem noted several times here. The small metal clamps which are squeezed closed over the metal strap just don't hold the strap securely enough to prevent slipping when the strap is tightened. I saw the one suggestion about beating the clamp closed with a hammer against a piece of metal. I couldn't accomplish that feat two stories up on the peak of my roof. My solution was to get the clamp as tight as I could, but did not attempt to have the mount hold the weight of the mast and antenna up above the surface of the roof, rather I placed a piece of wood on the roof then let the base of the mast rest on the wood. This way the mount holds the mast in a vertical position, but the actual weight of the antenna and mast are supported by the roof (also, I drilled a 1.5" hole partially through the supporting board for the base of the mast to sit in). I did the job alone and found it was helpful to use strips of duct tape to hold the straps up as I wrapped them around the chimney. The quality of the straps seemed fine to me, and the metal support frame, nuts and bolts, as well as the U-bolt was very good. I would rate the quality of the materials other than the clamps as four stars. The quality and design concept of the clamps is poor (although, for someone with the right tools or cleverness this might not be an issue) and I would rate them at two stars. So, overall three stars. Now I we'll see how it holds up to the winds of winter!
If you need it buy it, no brainer.

Easy enough to install with 1 person.

8 ft fence pole and channel master HD antenna attached to chimney.

Has been up for awhile now. No issues. Have had some 50 MPh winds and it's still there.
