Apparently, beds should have 8 bed posts now and no grills. This has been a terrible experience with a terrible bed.
Otherwise i love the way it looks and seems very sturdy

The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is the instruction for the frame. It says to put the frame on one setting for xl full and another for queen. The queen setting however is too big and does not line up with the headboard and foot board! I was able to switch it but it was a pain. Otherwise i love the way it looks and seems very sturdy.

For less than 200 I was not expecting much with this bed so I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. I came in three moderately heavy boxes so I was worried about shipping damage. They were packed well so there was no damage even though the boxes were a bit beat up. All the parts were decently sturdy and nice looking. It could not have been simpler to put together; I managed to do it in about 30 minutes by myself. Once together it was very sturdy and doesn't squeal like many metal frame beds. There were a few very minor issues which is the only reason I didn't give it 5 starts.
Some of the screw holes didn't quite line up; they were maybe 1/32" off so you had to really had to tug and pull at the pieces to make the screws fit. The instructions to put the bed frame together was incorrect; they said you had to use certain holes for a queen sized bed but in reality you had to use the ones they labeled full. The final very minor issue was the smell of fresh stain. They must have just made the wood posts because the stain odor was very overpowering and probably will be for another few days. I really wish I could give it 4.7 stars but since I can't.....

The brown posts are a beautiful medium brown that compliment every piece of wooden furniture ...

This bed is full of pros and absence of any cons that I can find. After years of having a mattress and box springs on a plain frame...this complete bed gives the room a classy finished look that makes me wonder what took us so long in purchasing this! The assembly was very straightforward and we had it together in under 30 minutes. The brown posts are a beautiful medium brown that compliment every piece of wooden furniture in the room, whether it is a bit lighter or darker. The black scrolled headboard and footboard make the bed appear far more expensive than it was. This has now been assembled for more than 6 months and has had daily usage. No complaints! This would make a solid, beautiful addition to any bedroom.

I have one one complaint, why is the metal finish rough, not smooth, is that what "Duo" means? It beats me, it feels like sandpaper when you run your hand on the metal, very strange. Other then that it is a beautiful bed, it is very good looking. It went together in no time and my Serta memory for mattress set fits perfectly on the frame. It has zero play, doesn't move, doesn't squeak, an overall awesome buy that I am very pleased with. If anything I'll take it apart and refinish the metal, but it's not that and you get used to it.
