I have numerous devices to make coffee. This is my go-to. It is quick, simple, and even basic store brand coffee tastes better than running it through a regular coffee machine.
Simply add hot water to soak the grinds, wait 30 seconds, then slowly pour in some water. Gently swirl the pour-over part to get the grinds down and then let drip. Repeat until your cup is full. This works every time for me. Your mileage may vary. There are a ton of videos online to help get your process down. Great rabbit hole to fall into.

Absolutely love the v60. It creates smooth coffee with consistent flavor if done right. This makes it easy to do it right. There is nothing complex about using the v60 -- get a compatible filter, good coffee quality water at the right temperature and patience to pour it over nice and slow. This does the real work perfectly.

The Hario 03 is a great option if you want to use a Chemex filter. We really enjoy good pour over coffee, and my preference is a Chemex.
The Hario 03 is also a great option for travel (plastic). While it does not fold or collapse, it works great and will not break like a glass Chemex.
