Works better than expected! I have two breaks in my right pointer finger nail so I bought this to try and prevent losing it. I've tried the tea bag and super glue methods but they don't last. This really worked! I brushed the glue on both the top and underside of the nail where the breaks are and dipped it in the powder. It dried almost immediately and didn't really need any buffing down, but I used the buffer it provided a little. Once I painted over it you can't even tell it's there! That part of my nail is very strong now and the cracks are still completely sealed days later. It's lasted through hair washing's and bath soakings. I haven't changed my polish yet, I imagine the acetone will eat it away and I'll have to reapply, but I'll update once I do that. But I really recommend this product!

I received this product within 2 days of ordering. After reading other reviews, I figured this kit would be my best solution to fixing my splitting nails. I saw another user write that they were able to reattach a severed nail as well. With just 2 layers, i was able to reattach the entire tip of my left thumbnail!! Oddly enough, it took more layers to mend the cracks on the left and right side of my right thumbnail. Im sure with a layer or two of regular or gel polish that itll hold for a bit until they grow out enough for me to cut them properly.

I recently bought this kit after breaking a nail. I did not want to cut off all my nails nor did I wish to resume using the tea bag method that didn't always work. I used this as soon as I got it ( I received it a few days early, by the way). I used this with another brush on glue. After applying the glue I dipped the nail in the powder that I sat on a piece of wax paper in case it spilled. After dipping, I waited a few minutes, tapped some of the excess powder onto the wax paper, lightly pressed the remaining to ensure it stuck, thenafter using a brush to remove any excess if any, used a buffer to smooth the surface. Before polishing the nail, I used a clear base coat. I've read others used a ridge filler, but the base coat worked for fine me,. The result was a repaired nail with no visible signs of being repaired, and no matte finish. I love this product and will keep buying it to repair my broken nails when needed. Thank you so much!

Where has this been all my life?????? As someone who can't function without nails (it's like my fingers have been removed) I have to have some form of nail. Heredity has given me weak nails and no amount of anything makes them stronger. Trust me - I've tried everything. Lately, acrylic nails haven't been working well at all. I waited until they grew out enough and then used this. After struggling with silk wraps last time I did this, I tried this and will never use silk wraps again. This was easy, dried fast and while I had to use more than a simple buff, my nails came out so much nicer!!! No more struggling with silk wraps!!!!! Trying to cut them down was such a pain the rear; I'm right handed so having to do my right hand was frustrating. Silk wraps no more!!!!! My only problem - and it was fully my fault -was the powder tipped over a few times. Lost about half :( Still far less aggravating than silk wraps or sitting at the manicurist for over an hour and having nails lift 2 days later. I am buying more right now and recommend to those who are trying to decide between silk wraps and this.

LOVE this! I got tired of paying $$$ to get my nails done every few weeks, but my natural nails never grow. I soaked my acrylics off and applied THIS and my nails are still growing strong. I don't get the professional finish, and had to re-apply one a week, but its so worth it! Products lasts a long time!
