Dead Within 45 Days
Yelena SorokinaDecember 29, 2016
I agree with the other reviewers who describe this unit as difficult to use. I should not have to do an internet search to figure out how to use the thing. More importantly, it was simply dead within 45 days. The flame gradually grew weaker and weaker and finally died. (This was not a re-fueling issue; I never had any problems re-fueling it.) If you are looking for a butane torch, I would recommend just skipping this item and going directly to the Blazer GT8000 Big Shot Butane Torch, which so far has been reliable and easy to use.
this is a good product and works very well

I bought this for my husband and I would have given this five stars but the Temperature Control sometimes increases from low to a higher flame on it's own. Just need to be aware of that so that you don't burn what you are working on. Other then that, this is a good product and works very well.

One time wonder
SisterSueFebruary 4, 2016
This worked one time and one time only. I viewed a YouTube video about prepping and tinning twice before I began. I'm new to this so I wanted to be careful. The first time worked fine. I wasn't successful soldering, but I expected it to take practice. Today I set it up exactly as I did before, and it does not heat at all. I filled it as I did before and waited the 2 mins before I began. What a disappointment!
Great Item. Poor replacement parts.

Product is very good but when I inquired to the seller and the manufacturer about replacement tips for the soldering iron, I couldn't even get a reply after several attempts. I would not buy again due to lack of support for the product and parts replacement availability.
