The media could not be loaded. Here's an honest pool vac review from someone who actually uses the things. We got a swim spa and so I needed a vaccum for sand and silt pick up not handled by the pool filter. On the swim spa the pool side and the spa side have pleated paper filters which don't really pick up much of the debris that ends up in the bottom or the steps. Well the first cordless pool vac was the high end teal blue and yellow one that starts with E. DO NOT BUY ONE OF THOSE! After it abruptly died I read reviews again and ordered the "Pool Blaster Max CG" way better suction on the Pool Blaster Max CG but I wouldn't consider it commercial grade. Also the opening for sucking up debris is just over 1" across so think of marbles. I don't know how they sucked up leaves in the commercial but it isn't happening in real life. So if you plan on sucking up leaves you need to remove them with a net first and then fire up the large 2 1/2" commercial grade tube vac that dumps into your large outside the unit filter. This is for quick pick ups of sand, silt and small debris tracked in by feet. Not what got dumped in your pool by a hurricane or tornado! Sorry my phone ate my first use video. But the unit comes with 2 debris socks/filters. The first one I used looked fine enough to catch everything but silty sand just blew out of it. It looked like it had got it all sucked up but 2 hours later it was stacked up in the corners again. So the next day which is this video I went over things again this time with the thicker fabric filter sock. This material is a lot like aquarium filter material so it catches everything including all the fine silty material. The new Pool Blaster has a few design issues but all in all it is a HUGE improvement over my first choice in pool vacs. Always remember to start and stop the motor under water. You can vaccum by being inside the pool but you must walk and go a slow and use a sweeping motion back and forth to catch the sand and stuff without kicking it up with your feet. You can also vaccum from outside the pool just use a gentle back and forth sweeping motion and don't get in a hurry and stir things up away from the vaccum head. Also remember to store your vaccum with the head turned up so the bristles don't touché the floor/ground otherwise you will destroy your bristles. The head on the Pool Blaster is considerably larger than others on the market and the stiffer bristles do a much better job. Also has greater suction but it still has a small opening for what it sucks up to go inside inside the sock filter. But if you have a small pool and need to vaccum dirt and sand tracked in by the kids and don't want to hassle with the commercial vaccum and have to do all the hassle of back flushing your main filter then this might be a good choice for you.

The media could not be loaded. I have had my Pool Blaster Max Commercial Grade for about 2 months now. I am super pleased with how sparkling clean it keeps the bottom of my pool. It's charge last about 50 minutes which gives me plenty of time to vacuum the bottom of my 15,500 gallon pool. It is so easy to use, is light weight, I just attach my pool broom pole, put in an additional filter sock in the filter bag, and its ready to use. It has a wider vacuum head than the Regular Pool Blaster, so each pass covers more area. It sucks up all the fine sand and debris, bugs and leaves like nobody's business. Depending on the size of the leaf, it may take a couple of passes to suck it up. I vacuum weekly, and even when my pool doesn't look visibly dirty, I'm shocked every time as to what I find in the filter bag after I vacuum. I do however use the Vacuum Filter Socks, which IMO help contain the fine particles more so than just the filter bag. I originally purchased the Regular Pool Blaster, but after about a month it just stopped working, so thank goodness I had purchased the warranty. Upon filing a claim, my money was immediately refunded and I decided to give Pool Blaster one more chance and went with the Commercial Grade one, and so far I couldn't be happier. I did once again buy the warranty just in case. Previously I had a pool robot, but this Pool Blaster CG is by far superior in keeping the bottom of my pool clean! Everyone who sees my pool is astonished as to how clean and sparkling it is, and a large part of that is due to the regular use of this Pool Blaster Max CG!!

Originally I was leaving a bad review since the charge only lasted about 2 minutes both times I tried it. I was going to return but I decided to give it another chance since it did work the first time I used it. . I thought I may have charged it wrong. So after charging it all night I tried it again and this time it worked perfectly. I was apparently charging it wrong. So now it get up everything I see and some I don't. It will pick up pollen dust or whatever the cloudy stuff in a pool is, great. I like the vac and it's now doing what I hoped it would. Hope it keeps working. I would give it 5 stars but its very hard to get the charger in the vac so I give it a 4 star rating.

4/5 for me, the reason is the bag that is a filter doesn't catch fine dirt. It catches most dirt, but not the fine stuff.

It's good for small areas like a hot tub or catch basin for a negative edge.

This is an awesome vacuum. I use it for my pool cleaning business as well as my own in-ground pool. I have 2 of these and so far they are holding up very well. If you have an above ground pool, this is a must have. It makes keeping your above ground pool clean with less effort. The battery last about 2.5 hours and takes about 4 hours to charge. The filter is easy to remove and clean. We live in the Arizona desert and get a lot of fine sand in our pool. This vacuum sucks it right up in to it's own filter so it stays out of my systems filter, which means I don't have to clean it out my pool filter system as much.
