If you're looking for a soy sauce replacement, this does not really taste the same. I'm guessing the people saying it does are using it on meat dishes and such, because if you use it on something plain like white rice you'll notice the difference right away. This tastes almost exactly like the liquid form of a bullion cube or ramen noodles seasoning packet. It's very salty and dry, and doesn't have that tangy soy sauce taste.

Love liquid aminos. I use it in place of soy sauce and salad dressings, but my favorite purpose for this is to put on the mushrooms I cook. Mushrooms already have a red meat feel, but when you add this for some reason it makes it even more realistic. If you look up vegan recipes on pinterest every day (like me :P), you will see that you will end up using this quite often. It's not for everyone, but I recommend trying it.

I don't normally purchase food online but gave this a shot. The package arrived open in the box because it was a bottle in a box with nothing else & spilled. The aminos are so incredibly salty that no matter how little I use- it's off putting. Thumbs down all around.
