Very helpful with smaller projects. Works well and assembly was a breeze. I do wish the measurement decals were prearranged rather than myself being left to put them in place. There's no way not be off by at least 1/32.

I tried to make taper jigs and buy other taper jigs, but nothing really worked until I tried Rockler. I thought that it was safe and accurate and easy to use. None other that I've tried even come close. It is standard in my shop for making taper table legs on my table saw.

I used this jig to taper back slats on adirondack chairs using cedar wood and it worked just fine. Other reviewers complained about it being made of too thin mdf board. You don't have to torque down the clamps that much ., so as the sliding fence bows. At $20 off, it's a good buy.

I bought this because I cut tapered parts all the time. I had one of those tapered jigs that has two metal bars attached by a hinge at the top. It worked OK but was a pain to set up each time and sometimes slipped. I love the ease of setting up this jig. The clamps are a bit slow if you're mass-producing parts so I replaced them with quick-release toggle clamps but the jig is a sound investment for me.
