Easy to use and keeps the bike steady
Lauren W•August 17, 2017
Love this bike rack! My husband uses it in his truck with the extension arm -- keeps both bikes steady and was easy to install. Secured with a truck lock and cable, it's a great choice for a fair price point.
Perfect! 5 stars!

Exactly what I was looking for! I haul my bike short distances for varying rides throughout the week and wanted something super simple for my bike so that I would not have to lay it down in my truck bed. I do have to leave my tailgate down in my Nissan Frontier but would feel totally comfortable hauling my bike long distances also. These are easy, fast, and hold my bike firmly. They are not in the way when not in use for my bike while I haul other things. Great invention!!!
I like this "rack" so much

I like this "rack" so much, that I actually ordered a second one so I could stow a buddy's bike too.
Setting them up is a little bit of a pain - unless the lip of your truck bed is especially wide, you'll end up frequently scraping the handle for the compression screw against the inside of your bed as you're installing. It can also take a little time to find just the right spot to put them for your particular bike frame.
Once they're in, though, they're super easy to use, and keep your bike safe, secure, and out of the way of the rest of your truck bed!

Poor design, wobbly and not secure
Bernhard Wolf•July 30, 2016
Just like other people have said: It does not clamp tight enough to the rail, and the bolts that are supposed to hold the bike wobble back and forth, and work themselves loose this way after only a few miles. This would not occur if the clamp and the L-shaped bracket would be one piece instead of 2 separate pieces, the wobble occurs between those 2.
This is a poor design because of this issue. I was able to make the setup just stable enough to be (barely) useable by securing the bicycle to the truck tiedown rings with bungee cords for additional stability. This rack alone without this extra help would not be able to secure the bike safely. Without the extra help of the bungee cords, this would be utterly useless and 1 star., The company also states that you can secure the bike to the carrier without needing to climb into the pickup bed-with a full size pickup, this statement is simply ridiculous, unless you are 8 ft tall. This might work for a toy truck for average sized people...I am 6ft 2in and see no way of doing this. Poor value for the money, sooner or later I will have to buy a hitch bike carrier.

Love this bike rack!

Ingenious design. Easy to assemble and even easier to use. Highly recommended. My only fear (unfounded) is it may be easy to remove for a thief. Can run cable through to lock unit to bike, but it doesn't prevent someone from taking bike AND bike rack if they really want it. SO....buy and use this bike rack, but be cognizant of potential theft possibility if left unattended. You WILL love this bike rack.
