We love this mix

We love this mix! We have a relative with severe celiac, as well as lactose intolerance. I make this using corn oil and instead of milk, Limoncello or Galliano! Seriously good, and the texture improves overnight. I make as a Bundt Cake, and glaze with a simple powder sugar and lemon or orange juice glaze. The chocolate mix is great also!
Odd aftertaste

There is a strange aftertaste.
I don't know if it was the set I got, but I was very disappointed. I use a good water and I bake a lot but never experienced this kind of taste.
I will try to contact Bob's because it truly tastes weird.

I just happen to really like this.
Looked on-line for the baking tips, which is a must do.
Gluten Free-needs to be cooked and mixed differently.
Knowing this makes all the difference.
Worked just great, with happy tummy and all.

... free cakes are dense and heavy and seem more like pound cake than regular

I was hesitant to purchase this - most gluten free cakes are dense and heavy and seem more like pound cake than regular. This cake mix was amazing though! I made a two layer cake with home made butter cream frosting and it was completely gone within 24 hours (I'm the only one with Celiac and often my hubby and kids are grossed out by my gluten free baked goods). It was light and moist. Obviously its a bit denser than regular cake, but as far as gluten free cakes go, this is the BEST mix I have ever used. Highly recommend!
Can't beat this!

This is very good, and I encourage folks to see it as a base, and be creative with it. My first time using it I added
1 tablespoon of vanilla, and sliced up 2 nice ripe bananas into it, and then poured the batter into a sheet pan over
some lightly toasted whole pecans, a little maple syrup, and a generous sprinkling of cinnamon. Next time I make
it I may add a cup of pumpkin instead of all the milk, and some spices and ginger for a pumpkin cake . this is so
much easier than all the gluten free cake recipes I was finding, and it tastes delicious too.
