My third Gidget sewing table!
KarenM•October 30, 2016
This is my third Gidget sewing table. The other two are for bigger machines and stay out in my sewing room all the time. I wanted a third for when I want to use one of my smaller machines without having to pack away one of the bigger girls. These tables are sturdy and still small enough to fit in where space is limited. They fold easily to be tucked out of sight in a closet or under a bed. The depth for the drop-down for the machine can be adjusted easily. Just make sure you lock the legs appropriately---and also the drop-down when it is in a raised position for a flat surface to work on. I love all three of my Gidget sewing tables. They suit my needs perfectly.
Very Happy Quilter!

I ordered this 30 pound (easy enough for me to handle) Arrow cabinet (table) for quilt retreats and so glad I did. Purchased a small lightweight dolly ($13 @ Tuesday Morning) that holds up to 55 pounds (use a bungee cord to keep it on) to roll back & forth to & from my car. Easily fits in the trunk of my car. This great table has adequate table top space to my left for piecing quilts. Adjustable lift for sewing machine to fit flush with tabletop, ample leg room, easy to set up & tear down. Very sturdy table does not jump around since piecing quilts doesn't require warp speed. I bought this one WITHOUT the built-in wheels because of the ample tabletop space on my left. FYI - The table with wheels has less sewing room on the left as sewing machine fits in the middle of the table. I used the packing material to fill the open spaces around the sewing machine. I just made a snug pillow-like slip cover for the Styrofoam pieces after I taped the pieces together. Perfect!
Exactly what i was looking for

My table arrived in 3 days after I ordered it which was much sooner than the expected delivery date. There was no assembly required. All I had to do was prop the legs up and adjust the drop down portion for my sewing machine. I am using a brother se425 and I had to adjust the bolt on the chain the tightest it could go to get the right height. The only thing is that there is a single chain that supports the machine which somewhat worries me. I think i would feel better if there was a second chain on the other side. I sewed on the fastest speed and the table didn't wobble so it's pretty sturdy without the appearance as such. It doesn't take up much space either. I love my new table.
Gidget sewing machine table

The table is just what I needed, but I can't figure out why the manufacturer doesn't charge another $5-10 and finish the routered cut surface. There's no way you could safely sew "dainty" fabrics without getting them full of snags. I'm fortunate in having a handy husband. He applied wood putty to that raspy surface, sanded it smooth, applied a sealer and enamel paint. I would only recommend buying the table on condition..........that you have someone who can repair that router surface for you.

Happy Shopper•November 20, 2014
This table is just perfect for my small sewing area that I have In my kitchen. It has enough surface space behind the sewing machine
and to the left to be able to work on my quilts. I did notice when setting up the table ( which only involves locking the legs in place) that the cut out area for the sewing machine to sit in, was very rough cut, so I used white Duck Tape and lined the opening and that made it nice and smooth and looked much better as well. This table is meant for a light weight sewing machine. I first put my heavier Quilters Star sewing machine in the table and it fit fine, but the weight of the machine placed a lot of stress on the table and I was not confident in using it, so I switched to my Brother sewing machine and it was just perfect. I did notice when sewing if you sewed too fast the table would shake, but at a regular even speed it was just fine. I am very satisfied with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a economical sewing table, especially if your sewing area is small.
