As an amateur in photography, I've found the lens set to be an excellent value for the price charged. I've not used the polarizing filter or the florescent filter enough yet to fully rate them, but the UV filter does a great job and I've seen noticeable improvement in my pictures. Besides, the UV filter would be a whole lot cheaper to replace than a rather expensive telephoto lens.
