Nice Appearance But Mediocre Firebox

I love the look of this fireplace. I have it in my basement and it is the ideal finishing touch for a "man cave".
My issues are with the firebox.
Even when new I found it to be noisy - significantly noisier than other Dimplex products that I had purchased. My other issue is that it no longer provides any heat. For what it cost I expected a more reliable product.

The fireplace is great! It was easy to assemble, puts off enough heat to warm the room, and looks rustic which is what we were going for. The only thing to watch out for is the fiberglass when assembling it. Wear gloves and long sleeves. Otherwise, super!!
