Excellent Large Crock

The crock is very nice and of good quality. It ia currently being used to hold my ridiculous amount of kitchen utensils on the counter. The diameter is great and it can hold lots of tools. It would also be great for a nice, big batch of homemade kraut, but I haven't used it for that.

Very nice quality crock, but I returned it because I thought the lid was included and it wasn't. Photo is deceiving. I found the same crock at Ace Hardware's website for only $23.00.

This crock is just the right size for making sauerkraut for one or two people. I was using a 2 gallon crock, but it proved a bit too big and heavy. Should have got this one to start with. Well made, holds 2+ modest heads of cabbage, doesn't take up too much space. I have a saucer that fits the interior very well, too. I had no need for the weighting stones or the top.

Exactly what I wanted. Using it as a countertop utensil holder. It is very heavy and does not skid around. Plenty large enough to hold all your spoons, spatulas etc. I even have a strainer in it and two graters; it is easy to remove everything and it looks very nice on the counter too.
